As pipe trades craft people, we perform on a wide range of different projects, from large commercial projects including hospitals, schools and hotels to large industrial projects such as nuclear power plants, conventional power plants, oil refineries, chemical plants and product manufacturing facilities. We also construct and maintain industrial refrigeration and climate control systems.

By becoming a member, you will have choices to pursue many opportunities in the pipe trade profession. This trade involves more than simply installing pipe and valves. As a skilled craft person you will be expected to interpret blueprints and flow charts, measure and cut piping to exact dimensions and install a piping system that includes valves, pumps and possibly backflow prevention devices. The joining of these systems may be by welding, brazing or soldering - no matter our members are qualified and certified to these processes.
